Linux cambio de hora septiembre 2022

Gracias a los imbeciles del gobierno en practica que movieron la fecha del cambio de hora hay que actualizar el tzdata de los equipos, pero acabo de tirar el zdump en ubuntu 18.04 y me arroja esto...

¿aun no esta el update con las fecha de cambio de hora actualizado?

En mi pc de casa con Debian Bookworm ya esta reflejado el cambio para el proximo Sabado 10 de Septiembre a las 23:59:59 , supongo que será cosa de tiempo para que refleje tambien en Ubuntu.

¿aun no esta el update con las fecha de cambio de hora actualizado?

El package es el tzdata versión 2022b. De seguro tienes la 2022a aún.
En Fedora apareció hoy

por lo que en Ubuntu viejo que usas debería aparecer pronto :zippy

Gracias, es decir que solo tengo que esperar una semana mas a lo mucho, por otro lado es Ubuntu server LTS, uno no juega con distros inestables en produccion. En cualquier caso ya empezamos a hacer las pruebas para actualizar a 22.04 LTS antes de abril del proximo año.

como dijo K3rnelpanic ya está en Fedora, y agrego que también está en Debian (bullseye) estable. raro que no te llegue aún

Como dijeron en otros post, necesitas tzdata 2022b.
En el anuncio ponen esto entre los cambios:

¿Saben si ya salió el tzdata para RedHat 6 /CentOS 6 /Oracle Linux 6?

Tengo unos linux legacy huachos por ahí.

Redhat dice que lo va a liberar el 24 de agosto.

revisa la data no el nombre del paquete, los nombres y versiones pueden variar entre distros

Red Hat ya liberó el tzdata2022c para RH7, 8 y 9.
Felices actualizaciones.
Recuerden también que si utilizan Java, deben utilizar tzupdater.jar para desplear las nuevas definiciones de cambio de hora de la IETF.

Microsoft plans to release an update to support this change; however, there may be insufficient time to properly build, test, and release such an update before the change goes into effect. In the meantime, we recommend that organizations with devices in the Republic of Chile temporarily disable automatic DST adjustments in Windows to reflect the correct local time between September 4, 2022 and September 11, 2022.

This can be done in one of the two ways:

Select the Windows logo key, type "Date and time", and select Date and time settings. From the Date & time settings page, toggle Adjust for daylight saving time automatically to Off.

Go to Control Panel > Clock and Region > Date and Time > Change time zone and uncheck the option for “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time”.

For those in the Santiago time zone, after 12:00 a.m. on September 11, 2022, and for those in the Easter Islands time zone, after 10:00 p.m. on September 10, 2022, follow the steps below to re-enable automatic DST adjustments and ensure accurate time switching with future DST transitions.

Precisamente estamos con la gpo lista para sacarle el check al reloj de winfox. Otra opción que estamos barajando es apuntar los equipos directo al shoa y sería todo.
